The Pitfalls of Home Ownership

Well, this last week, Tyler and I made the final decision to take our house off the market. As many of you know, we have owned two homes since August and been on a real estate roller coaster ride since March (when we first made our offer on our new home). Lots of ups and downs and then the market shot straight down. We realized that we could not afford to sell our old home under these circumstances (as it had depreciated below what we paid for it). So, now we are trying to figure out which one to rent. Still painting in the new house and hope to be ready to either move in or rent it out by November 1st. Wish us luck. :)
